On November 20, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS), Zhanna Andreasyan, met with representatives of the AMAA in Armenia, led by the organization’s Director, Aren Deyirmenjian.
During the meeting, AMAA provided a detailed presentation of its educational programs. In response, Minister Andreasyan emphasized the importance of fostering effective dialogue between non-state educational institutions and government policymaking bodies.
Aren Deyirmenjian discussed the initiative to implement programs related to agriculture and high technologies at the Avedisian School, as well as other collaborations with leading international educational institutions. It was noted that AMAA aims to expand this educational model by establishing similar schools in the regions of Gegharkunik, Syunik, Shirak, and Lori.
The Minister welcomed the implementation of these initiatives, highlighting their alignment with the state’s policy goals. According to Zhanna Andreasyan, the Armenian government is currently working on a program to renovate, construct, and modernize 300 schools and 500 kindergartens by 2026. Both sides expressed their willingness to explore opportunities for collaboration on these projects.
