“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
– Luke 2:14
Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the joy of God’s saving love and to share that joy with others.
As every year, this time too, through the efforts of AMAA and the Evangelical Church of Armenia, that joy became available to tens of thousands of people.
The 2025 Christmas festivities were held from December 21 to January 12. An important message was conveyed to thousands of children, teenagers, and adults in different settlements of Armenia, mainly through theatrical performances: the joy of Christmas encourages us to change and transform the environment, making it more peaceful, harmonious, and bright.
Here are some nice moments captured by our camera.

YEREVAN
At the State Theatre of Musical Comedy after Hakob Paronyan, children from Yerevan and nearby regions had the opportunity to enjoy our “Hayasa” theater group’s 5 colorful performances, “One Good Deed”, dedicated to the Christmas season.
The play taught the little ones an important lesson: God sees the good deeds done selflessly, inspired by the Christmas joy.
3200 children participated in the event and received their festive gift bags as well.
GYUMRI
AMAA warmly hosted over 1,600 children, teenagers and parents in Gyumri, where they delighted in a heartfelt Christmas performance titled “Hand in Hand.” The play, prepared by the theatrical troupe of the local Evangelical Church of Armenia, beautifully conveyed themes of unity, genuine care and divine love.
At the event’s conclusion, the children were joyfully surprised with gift bags brimming with an array of presents.
VANADZOR
782 children and 649 adults, including 100 displaced children from Artsakh, participated in the AMAA Vanadzor office’s Christmas celebrations.
The Christmas joy was further enriched as the children, after watching a meaningful performance with profound spiritual significance, received their long-awaited gifts.
BORDER VILLAGES
The AMAA prepared delightful Christmas and New Year’s surprises for the children of the communities of Kakhakn, Akhpradzor, and Shatvan in the Vardenis region. The gifts were Aram Armenian bears, which will find a cherished spot next to the family Christmas tree, playing the renowned works of Aram Khachaturian.
