“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
– Luke 2:14

Peace that is independent of external circumstances and situations. The good news of Christmas was a proclamation of peace for all of us including the kids, teenagers and their parents forcibly displaced from Artsakh.

From December 23 to January 15, more than five dozen events were organized in more than 30 settlements of Armenia, including border villages, during which more than 10,000 children and teenagers enjoyed the warm festive atmosphere and received gifts.

Here are some nice moments captured by our camera.

YEREVAN

For two days, with 7 sessions, more than 2,200 children enjoyed a unique performance dedicated to Christmas by our “Hayasa” theater troupe at 18 Baghramyan Ave., Yerevan.

The little ones took home with them candles symbolizing God’s light, as well as bags full of helpful gifts and games.

GYUMRI

1,500 spectators and 1,000 children, witnessed the difficult but inevitable victory of good over evil in the AMAA Gyumri Center, through the theatrical performance dedicated to Christmas.

All children received Christmas gifts, 170 of which were forcibly displaced kids from Artsakh.

IJEVAN

Our “Hayasa” theater troupe gladly visited Ijevan and staged the play “Christmas in the Forest” for more than 200 children, including 71 forcibly displaced kids from Artsakh.

BORDER VILLAGES

With the mission of bringing Christmas joy to 14 border villages, the team of AMAA’s Vardenis office organized visits to those communities for 4 days, sharing with children heartwarming smiles and Christmas gifts.
