AMAA hosted Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan to discuss the organization’s resettlement and integration program for forcibly displaced people from Artsakh, which is being implemented in the village of Tavush in the Tavush region.
AMAA Armenia Director Aren Deyirmenjian, Operations Manager Narek Tutkhalyan, and Development Manager Nelly Ghulyan presented the program to the Deputy Minister.
During the meeting, they explored possibilities for creating agricultural and tourism infrastructure adjacent to the newly built residential homes. Arman Khojoyan commended AMAA’s efforts, with both parties highlighting the model’s significance for community development and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
They agreed to continue collaborating with the government and international partners to expand the Tavush development program and integrate agricultural training into AMAA’s educational initiatives.
