Avedisian School: A Center for Holistic, Eco-Friendly Education
AMAA’s Khoren and Shooshanig Avedisian School is an educational institution that provides 12 years of comprehensive, tuition-free education. The school operates in a newly constructed, eco-friendly campus consisting of seven energy-efficient buildings, certified by the international LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standard.
Founding Vision and Values
Established in 1998 by the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA), the school was made possible through the vision and generosity of benefactors Edward and Pamela Avedisian.
The school’s greatest asset is its dedicated, mission-driven teaching staff. The 35 teachers are deeply committed to their students and passionate about education. They undergo regular professional development to ensure they provide the highest quality education and foster a lifelong love of learning in their students. Teachers are encouraged to be creative and innovative in their teaching methods.
The school places equal emphasis on academic excellence, personal growth, and life skills development. Students grow and thrive in an atmosphere of love, respect, integrity, diligence, and readiness to contribute to society.

The 10,000-square-meter facility includes classrooms, two indoor gymnasiums, laboratories, and office spaces. The campus serves as a unique environmental laboratory, featuring solar panels, rainwater recycling systems, green roofs, and more. State-of-the-art equipment, such as computers, robotics labs, language labs, fully equipped science labs, and electronic boards, supports students’ education.
