Kindergartens

The Armenian Missionary Association of America operated 5 kindergartens.

Artsakh, which had a growing young population, had four kindergartens: Hagop and Lydia Baghdigian KG in Stepanakert established in 2001, Hagop Garabed Bilezikian KG in Shushi established in 2001, Yeprem and Zabel Basmajian KG in Askeran established in 2003 and Rev. Dr. Movses B. Janbazian KG in Martakert established in 2003.

Stepanakert’s Baghdigyan Kindergarten opened in 2001 and was home to 135 children. The kindergarten provided a fun and comfortable atmosphere for its students.

Bilezikian Kindergarten in Shushi first opened its doors in 1999, and provided a place for 70 children who came from poor families.

Yeprem and Zabel Basmajian Kindergarten in Askeran was opened in 2002 and included 82 children. The goal of the kindergarten was to enhance student performance by providing a well-organized and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Movses Janbazian Kindergarten in Martakert had been home to 70 students since 2002. Their daily routine consisted of a variety of lively and informative classes.
