Summer Camps

Since 1991, over 55,000 children have enjoyed summer camps organized by AMAA in dozens of locations across Armenia, including AMAA “Shoghik” Camp in Hankavan. The complex spans approximately 60,000 square meters and includes facilities such as dormitories for boys and girls, a conference hall, a dining hall, a guesthouse, an indoor concert hall, amphitheaters, service buildings, and other infrastructure. The grounds are enriched with lush greenery, playgrounds, walking paths, and gazebos, creating a serene and welcoming environment.

Through active recreation and a creative atmosphere, children at the camps are introduced to national and cultural values, educational Biblical stories, and developmental knowledge. They also acquire essential life skills while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of their homeland.

Children engage in interactive games, sports competitions, and theatrical group activities, fostering teamwork and creativity. They are immersed in stories of patriotism, exploring heroic figures from the past and imagining how they might respond in similar situations, which deepens their connection to their heritage.

Campers return home energized, happy, and strengthened in spirit. Parents are often surprised to see their children more cooperative, helpful, and forgiving after camp. These transformations begin at the camp itself, where communication barriers between children from different cities dissolve within days.

Indeed, the camp’s atmosphere of love, care, and support for holistic growth has a profound potential to transform every child.
