Thanks to the joint efforts of AMAA and “Hope for Armenia” humanitarian organization, a 27-year-old charity soup kitchen operates in Stepanavan. About 30 adults over 60 attend the soup kitchen.
In addition to delicious food, an hour-long entertainment program, such as watching a movie, discussions about interesting topics, games and warm communication is organized for the adults, which is the most important thing for the elderly.
AMAA’s Berd soup kitchen was founded in 2003, September on the direct initiative of Hannah Kristen, a German philanthropist, devoted Christian. The soup kitchen initially served about 86 people. It is also used for 30 children of the Tutorial Center in Berd.
Overall, the soup-kitchen currently serves 60 people.
